Kirk Wise is a member of several groups of entertainers which are very well known in
South Central Pennsylvania. He also works with other entertainers as a promoter for their talents.
The Jazz Me Band – which plays everything from Sinatra to Santana. Jazz, Blues, Motown and more… Usually a
four piece band including Mitch Gregory on lead vocal/harmonica, Kirk Wise bass/vocals, Doug Brenner guitar/vocals and Josef
Brye percussion. It can also be enlarged to a six piece band adding sax and keyboards depending on the venue. The Jazz Me
Band was voted “Best Of” for Live Music in 2009 by the Sentinel newspaper readers.

TEACHING:
I have been giving private instruction on woodwinds (saxophone, clarinet, and flute) on a full-time basis since 1991. I was
associated with a local music store from 1991-2000. I currently have some 40 students of all levels and styles (with
an emphasis on Jazz, and mainly teach out of some privately run teaching studios in the area, as well as my own home studio.
These studios include the Lititz Academy Of Music, in Lititz, Pa; The Musical Works in Lancaster, Pa; and Pick Music in York,
Pa.
